While driving home from treating my aged grandmother to a Mother's Day dinner, I slowed down to give a cop the right of way, and a wizened old guy who was speeding around in a giant pick-up rear ended me.

Proving that I am, as always, right on the very bleeding edge of fandom trends... I've realized what bugs me so much about the appearance of Ukyou in the most recent scanlations of the Yami no Matsuei manga. Back in the day, when I kept abreast of Yami, I had always assumed that Muraki's girlfriend was in a coma, thus setting the stage for a songfic so awesome it would truly stand as the pinnacle of Man's achievement.

Muraki=Morrissey. My God, you guys, it all makes perfect sense. I think I just totally figured out Foucault's Pendulum.
